Looking for an easy way to keep track of calf issues so that everyone on the care team is up to date? Grab an ear tag and a Sharpie marker to note slow drinkers, electrolytes needed, and treatments. 🏷️🖊️

Ear tags are easily attached to Calf-Tel pens with a zip tie loop under the pen corner pin. When the calf graduates to weaned housing, simply throw the ear tag in a regular washing machine cycle to remove dirt and ink before reuse! ✨

Need a way to bed hutches or calf barns more efficiently? This was on its way to upgrade a farm’s current set up. This gives you the ability to drive through to bed both individual pre-weaned calf pens and the weaned barn group packs.

This large square bale processor mounts on your skid steer, tractor loader, or telehandler and helps you bed in tight spots that are nearly impossible to get to with a trail behind processor. 😃

After last week’s windbreaker handy hint, we thought it was time to share Calf-Tel’s Front Door for hutches. Perfect for use when calves need to stay inside their hutches during storms. We have also witnessed it used to close in everything from baby ducks to pygmy goats that can also reside in hutches. Easy to assemble onto existing hutches! Comment below what lives in your Calf-Tel hutches.

What do you think of this snow/windbreaker for hutches? Constructed from a piece of old shade cloth, this farm attached a section of 2”x4” wood to each end of the fabric to weigh it down and hold it in place.

By simply hanging it over the fence panel every few hutches, it helps slow the wind enough to eliminate drifting in the fence area! 💨❄️🚫|🐄
